Property tax exemption

Land used for agricultural or forestry activity may apply for a property tax exemption before Panama’s tax authority (DGI). We prepare the application and obtain the supporting certifications.

  • Agricultural land: application at the DGI with a certificate from the Ministry of Agricultural Development (MIDA).
  • Forestry land: application at the DGI with a certificate from the Ministry of Environment (MiAmbiente).
  • Review of the property’s documents before filing.
